ShavedPeach… is a very provocative name. When I asked her about her suggestive user name I was expecting her to reveal some cutesy explanation and remark about how everyone was perverted in assuming it meant something sexual, while in actuality it was not. Boy was I wrong!
“It’s a pelvic hair removal”, she stated and laughed “I wanted to be sure that I had a name that stuck with people.”
Her products set themselves apart at first glance. They do not follow the typical items in the catalog. ShavedPeach has a specific view for her products, sticking to only slim fit body meshes for her female clothing and her own unique textures for her furniture products. In perusing her catalog you can tell that SP has put extensive work into her product pages and that there are many variations of her products.
While SP’s products are not something that I would normally wear myself, I can respect her work ethic and dedication to sticking to what her vision is instead of following the crowd. When she explained to me what CultRealism is her approach to Developing and textures made more sense to me. (See SP's interview for definition)
What I’d personally like to see from SP in the future is a bit more modern textures, such as the ones in her Nova collection, to accentuate her eccentric tastes and perhaps items to accentuate different body types. I feel that this would be the best way for her to appeal to more customers.
So all in all SP is a great dev to keep an eye out for. View her catalogue HERE and the SP products used in the photos below can be found here, here, and here.
